1st coat:  Esmalte Endurecedor para Unas. I know.  It's from Mexico.  Google it.

2nd coat: OPI "Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous"

3rd coat: Sinful Colors "Queen of Beauty"

Top coat: Sally Hansen Diamond Strength "Flawless"

 

 

Trust me, I have not been careful. My last gel manicure only lasted 5 days. I might patent this recipe. If you try it, let me know how it works for you.

$9.99 Goodwill Cane Chair Makeover

There seems to be no consensus on how to best paint caning - spray or brush.  I vote for spray.  Several very light coats and I didn't have any issues with the caning getting clogged with spray.  I did need to completely replace the seat as it was in such poor condition. Traced the old seat onto plywood and broke out the jigsaw.  Watch out.  She's wielding a power tool.

I also have a new best friend in furntiture painting:

It's a paint conditioner called Floetrol and it helped my semi-gloss look sm-o-o-o-o-o-th. I added about 3 capfuls to my quart of paint.
